3215M1 - Description

The Dytran model 3215M1 is a lightweight IEPE accelerometer, designed for applications where 360° orientation and a low profile design are critical. Available with a 10 mV/g sensitivity, the accelerometer incorporates a quartz shear crystal sensing element for high natural frequency, packaged in a rugged titanium housing. Units are case isolated to avoid EMI/ground loop interference, and are designed to reliably operate in temperatures up to +300°F (+149°C).

Model 3215M1 features a 10-32 radial connector and thru hole to accommodate a 10-32 screw. The miniature thru hole design allows for the sensor to be turned 360° prior to securing to ease of installation. Units are hermetically sealed for reliable performance in high humidity and dirty environments.
