The Dytran 3224A series is an ultra-miniature teardrop IEPE accelerometer with integral electronics, designed to adhesively mount in spaces inaccessible to other types of accelerometers and an overall weight of just 0.2 grams. 3224A series is capable of reliable operation in temperatures up to +300°F (+149°C)
Available with 1 mV/g up to 14 mV/g sensitivity, the 3224A series features a ceramic shear sensing element in lightweight laser welded titanium housing, with a 3-foot (0.9-meter) integral cable terminating to a 10-32 jack. The cable is designed to mate with several Dytran extension cables. Model 3224A5 features a 5-foot (1.5-meter) integral cable (exact sensitivity is provided on the calibration certificate supplied with each sensor).
