3225E - Description

The Dytran 3225E series is an ultra miniature teardrop low profile charge mode accelerometer with a sensitivity of 1.8 pC/g designed to mount in spaces inaccessible to other types of accelerometers. The sensor features a height of 0.15 inches (3.8 millimeters) and an overall weight of just 0.6 grams. Model 3225E2 sensor features a height of 0.20 inches (5.1 millimeters) and an overall weight of just 0.7 grams.

The sensors are designed to reliably operate in high temperatures up to +350°F (+177°C) and feature a ceramic shear sensing element in a lightweight laser welded titanium housing. Model 3225E comes with a three-foot integral cable terminating to a 10-32 jack and are epoxy sealed. Models 3225E1/E2/E3 come with a three-foot removable cable terminating to a 10-32 jack and are hermetically sealed for reliable operation in high humidity and dirty environments.

The 3225E series is a member of the Dytran 3225E series of charge mode accelerometers. All units within the series have a sensitivity of 1.8 pC/g and adhesive mounting capabilities. They differ only in terms of their type of connector, environmental seal and electrical isolation.

Supplied Accessories: (1) model 6298 small petro mounting wax, (1) model 6591A installation removal wrench, (1) model 6003A03 cable assembly

Recommended Accessories: model 4110C current source power unit, 4705M series in-line charge amplifier (10-32 jack to BNC jack), 4751B series in-line charge amplifier (10-32 jack to 10-32 jack)

Compatible Cables: 6013A, 6019A
