The Dytran 3225FT series is an ultra miniature teardrop low profile IEPE accelerometer with a sensitivity of 1 mV/g up to 10 mV/g and IEEE 1451.4 TEDS capabilities, designed to adhesively mount in spaces typically inaccessible to other types of accelerometers. The sensor has an overall height of 0.22-inches (5.6-millimeters) and weighs just 0.85 grams.
Featuring a quartz shear sensing element in a lightweight titanium housing, the models 3225F1T/F4T utilize a specially designed 3-56 coaxial connector, mating with a 3-foot (0.9-meter) replaceable coaxial cable and terminating to a 10-32 jack. The model 3225F5T mates with a 17-foot (5.2-meter) replaceable coaxial cable. Units are hermetically sealed for reliable operation in a high humidity and dirty environments.
