The system architecture is designed for a wide variety of applications. A single module provides a reliable and cost-effective solution for overspeed monitoring. Redundancy and voting structures can be created for applications with higher requirements and to increase availability. Typical applications include:

- 4-20 mA, 0-20 mA, 0-10V, or -10V to +10V transmitter output, 16 bits, isolated.
- RS232 or RS485 serial data output, Modbus or Laurel ASCII protocol, isolated.
- Dual 120 mA solid-state relays for alarm or control, isolated.
- Measures Voltage ranges: ±0.2V, ±2V, ±20V, ±200V, ±300V, and ±600V.
- Measures Current ranges: ±2 mA, ±20 mA, ±200 mA, and ±5A.
- High resolution (0.0015% of span) and accuracy (±0.02% of span).
- Input ranges are user-selectable and factory-calibrated.
- 5V, 10V, or 24V dc transducer excitation output, isolated.
