The OMX390T digital transmitter is designed for strain gauge measurements. It supports a wide range of input signals and provides a programmable analog output with high resolution. The device features a 32-bit processor, a fast 24-bit delta-sigma ADC with PGA, and a 16-bit DAC, ensuring accurate and stable measurements. The transmitter can perform up to 7200 measurements per second and includes functions such as teach-in, tare, linearization, and various digital filters.
The OMX390T supports multiple communication protocols, including RS485 with ASCII and Modbus, as well as Ethernet for data transmission. It offers galvanic isolation with a 2.5 kVAC rating, enhancing signal integrity and safety. The device can be configured via DIP switches located on the side of the housing or through a PC using the OM Link software, which also allows for firmware updates and customer calibration.
Operating within a temperature range of -20°C to 60°C, the OMX390T is housed in a PA66 material, providing durability and compliance with UL 94 V-0 standards. The device is installed on a 35 mm DIN rail and offers IP20 protection. It supports power supplies ranging from 10-30 VDC and 24 VAC, with low power consumption.
